Breast enhancement surgery is an outpatient procedure, which means that following the surgery, you’ll be sent home and given a list of instructions on how to care for your breasts. The following is an explanation of a few of the instructions you’ll receive:
Remove the Dressings
Roughly 24 hours after your breast augmentation surgery, you can remove the dressings previously applied by your plastic surgeon or nursing staff. Massaging can help prevent capsular contracture in which the tissues surrounding the new implants harden, causing an unnatural look and feel.
